  • 1 kg beef shank or lamb
  • 1 packet Shan Nihari Masala (60g)
  • 4-5 cups water
  • 1/2 cup oil or ghee
  • 2 tbsp wheat flour (for thickening)
  • 1 tbsp ginger-garlic paste
  • Fresh coriander and green chillies for garnish
  • Ginger juliennes and lemon wedges for serving
  • 1/2 cup fried onions (for added depth of flavour)
  • 2 tbsp yogurt (optional for added richness)

Cooking Instructions:

  1. Heat oil or ghee in a deep pot. Sauté ginger-garlic paste until golden.
